Let Color Make Your World a Happier Place
When I was a little girl, coloring with crayons and magic markers was one of my favorite hobbies. The brightest and most saturated hues were always the first to jump out at me. The inspiration I got from all of the colors made me feel so happy. Even into my adulthood, I find myself drawn to brilliant colors. My wardrobe defies all seasonal rules of dressing, and my home is my colorful paradise. One can almost always catch me in vibrant, citrus colors, even in the frigid month of January.
When it comes to choosing the glasswork I want for my jewelry, I look to nature for inspiration. Red-hot volcano lava, Caribbean blue waters, and African animal prints release my desire to create something beautiful. Sometimes the inspiration is right in front of me like the inside of a juicy lime or the beautiful hot pink color of a New Guinea Impatiens flower growing in my deck planter. Mix them all together and something wonderfully zany happens. Color is instinctive, emotional, and spontaneous.
Let color make your world a happier place.
